“Thessaloniki is becoming more and more famous and is one of the most beautiful destinations,” said the deputy regional governor of Thessaloniki, Voula Patoulidou, stressing that: “we did not settle down or relax during the pandemic, which means that today you can find a part of yourself as part of the city”.
Voula Patoulidou is the first Greek female Olympic gold medalist. She was a member of the Olympic team in five Olympiads (1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004). She won the Olympic gold in Barcelona in the 100-meter hurdles on August 5, 1992.
